Apple Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread!

Layers of soft dough, buttery cinnamon sugar, tender apples, and a sweet glaze to finish it all off.

I think this one might be a keeper!

One year ago, The Bowl Next Door began with a love of baking and the simple joy of sharing something homemade.

And then you all showed up. 🤍

You’ve stopped by sidewalk sales, shared my treats with your families, trusted me with your celebrations, told your friends, and kept me baking far more than I ever imagined.

This month, The Bowl Next Door turns ONE.

More than anything, I just want to say thank you for pulling up a seat at my little table this past year. I can’t wait to see what we bake up in Year Two.

There’s something special about bringing two parts of my world together.

Today I created my biggest charcuterie table yet….a full 6 feet! And the client made it even more meaningful: my work family at Youth In Need celebrating the grand opening of expanded youth services in Spanish Lake.

Two passions and purposes meeting at the same table. 🤍

A little test baking at The Bowl Next Door this weekend. 🤎

The kitchen was a mess, which usually means something good is happening. 🙃

Today I played around with oatmeal cream pies two ways….one with molasses and one without, because apparently I need to know which one makes the perfect oatmeal cookie.

A few things I already know for sure: Vanilla bean buttercream is HERE TO STAY- best served between 2 mini chocolate chip cookies!🤤

The oatmeal cream pie recipe is still getting a little love before I call it finished, and the cookie cake got some testing too.

Trying, tweaking, tasting, and figuring out what deserves a spot on the menu is so much fun.

So tell me: oatmeal cream pie, chocolate chip cookie sandwich, or cookie cake….which are you hoping to grab first? 🍪
