✨ DON’T COUNT US OUT YET… WE’RE COMING BACK!!! ✨

We finally have some GOOD news:
🥳 TASTE AND SEE BAKERY WILL BE RETURNING! 🥳

We have been blessed with a space inside L&L Furniture, and we are working incredibly hard to transform it into a clean, safe, food-prep-ready little home for our bakery.

Has it taken longer than we thought?
Of course it has. 😂 At this point, that seems to be the story of our lives!

This season has tested us in ways we never expected. There were times we couldn’t see what God was doing or understand why. But He doesn’t ask us to understand He just asks us to trust and so…here we are, trusting.🥰

We still have work to do, and we aren’t quite ready to give you an opening date yet — but we ARE coming back. And after everything it has taken to get here, we cannot WAIT to turn those ovens back on and fill the cases again! 🍪🧁🍩

Thank you for continuing to pray for us, encourage us, and check on us!

Keep watching. Keep praying. And maybe start deciding what your first order is going to be.😜

Because this isn’t the end of Taste and See, it’s just another chapter. 😘❤️

📣 AN UPDATE FROM TASTE & SEE 💜
But first, story time… 🤭
One time, we took a flight. ✈️ During take off, it was dark, dreary, messy, rainy 🌫️🌧️and I thought we were in for a rough ride. 😵‍💫 We topped the clouds and it was the most beautiful sky I have ever seen in my life!!! ☁️☀️☁️Point being, sometimes our view of the situation looks messy, BUT GOD. HE has a different view, HE sees from above and He does all things well! Just like a cross-stitch artist. From the bottom, sometimes the art isn’t even recognizable but from the artist point of view, it’s a beautiful picture….🥰

That being said….
🚫Taste & See will NOT be opening in the former Tropical Grill building on Oak Avenue. We will not be returning to our location on Crystal street as there are other plans in the works for that location. So for now…well, you’ll just have to stay tuned.

We’re tired. We’re disappointed. And we certainly never imagined our attempted move would turn into all of THIS.
💞But we also know that sometimes a closed door is simply a redirection.💞

We have had the kindest people of this community come thru time and time again!!! This time it was the sweet Ms. ! She donated 20 handcrafted expression cards for us to sell and use profits for the bakery while in this season of downtime. They include matching handcrafted envelopes as well! Cards are $5 each if you have questions just ask 🥰 it only allows 10 photos but if you’d like to see more just message us 🥰

🎉 We Need Your Feedback! 🎉

While we’re still waiting on the roof repairs and our retail space to be ready, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes…and we’re excited to say the downstairs kitchen renovation is almost complete! 🙌

Now for the truth…while you’re craving the treats, I’m craving the creativity, the smiles, the laughter, and seeing all of you again! ❤️ It gets a little discouraging having to answer, “No, we’re not open just yet,” day after day.

So…we’ve been brainstorming! 💡

🍪 Introducing a possible Cravings Club!

This is ONLY an idea right now, and we’d love your honest feedback before we move forward.

The idea would be a weekly or monthly pre-order membership. You’d choose the frequency that works best for you, and we’d schedule convenient pickup times so everyone can swing by and grab their goodies. Have a workplace, church, or group that wants to order together? We’d be happy to look at delivery options for larger group orders, too!

✨ A sample $40 Cravings Club Box could include:
🧁 6 assorted jumbo filled specialty cupcakes
🍪 6 cookies (half chocolate chip & half peanut butter unless you request something different)
🍰 Your choice of:
• 2 individual cheesecakes
OR
• 4 gourmet doughnuts

The best part? Every box would feature a fun variety of flavors, so there would always be something new to look forward to!

WELCOME CRYSTAL…. I just seen it’s national friendship day and gotta share a little about this chick right here! Funny it’s today as we had a pretty rough one but nevertheless we brush it off and press on! As a homeschooling mom of 10 that homesteads she still makes time and shows up every.single.time.! We don’t see eye-eye on everything but with respect and understanding we are able to agree to disagree and have grown into the closest of friends aside from blood sisters. She dealt with me on my first flight ✈️😣. Second one we unknowingly broke the rules and spent the night alone with only a janitor in a small airport in Mississippi😖 10/10 do NOT recommend lol we were just trying to get home to an unexpected yet very important funeral! We’ve shared great food and less than great “frufru” food lol we have shared so many good times from cross country trips, camping on toe river to our own back yards and I’m so incredibly thankful for her friendship!!!! Not only has she became a chosen sis to me but her kids have given our girls much needed great friendships as well! I’m so excited to have her on board as a business partner now and can’t wait to see what’s ahead for our little but growing bakery family!!!!! 🥰

💕 Before Parent Appreciation Day comes to an end, I have to brag on my momma for just a minute. 💕

If you’ve been in the bakery, chances are you’ve seen her. She may be washing dishes, cleaning, decorating, helping customers, packing orders, or doing whatever needs to be done at that very moment. There isn’t a job she’s unwilling to tackle.

The best way I know to describe my mom is that she is the living example of my Paw Jearl. She is the most selfless person I’ve ever known. If she has one red cent, you’re welcome to it. If you’re hungry, her kitchen, pantry, and refrigerator are yours too! She has always taught us that serving others is one of the greatest ways to serve the Lord, and she didn’t just teach that with words…she lives it every single day.

You want to know what makes my mom happy? Letting her make you or others happy. ❤️ That’s simply who she is.

She doesn’t spend countless hours at the bakery because she has to. She certainly doesn’t do it for a paycheck. She does it because she loves me and my little family, believes in what we’re building, and finds genuine joy in helping us serve this incredible community. She knows how much this dream means to me and Tay and she quietly pours her heart into making it possible.

There are so many things about Taste & See that people see…the cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes, smiles, and laughter. But what many don’t see are the countless hours of love from people like my mom behind the scenes.

Momma, thank you for showing me what it means to love Jesus by loving people. Thank you for teaching me that the greatest acts of kindness are often the ones no one notices. Thank you for believing in this dream even on the hard days.

I love you more than words can say, and our bakery—and our family—is better because of you. Happy Parent Appreciation Day! ❤️
