📣 Vendor Opportunities at Taste and See Bakery! 📣
Before we get to the fun part, we want to clarify something important. This isn’t just a bakery policy—it’s North Carolina law.
Any food products sold to the public must be produced in a properly licensed and inspected kitchen. Whether at home or a commercial kitchen. These regulations exist for food safety, consumer protection, and to ensure everyone is operating under the same standards. (And let’s be honest… people are lawsuit-happy these days. 🤪)
Obtaining inspections, permits, and maintaining compliance requires a significant investment of time, effort, and money, but it’s an important part of protecting both businesses and customers. So in Aladdin’s words yes “all this for a loaf of bread” 🥖🤣🐒 🧞‍♂️
Now that the serious part is out of the way… 😜
As we continue preparing for our new location, we’re looking to partner with a few local vendors to help us offer an even wider variety of products to our customers!
If you know of a baker, bread maker, candy maker, jam maker, or other food producer who has gone through the process of becoming properly licensed and inspected—whether they operate from a commercial kitchen or an approved home-based kitchen—please tag them below or share this post with them.
We’d love the opportunity to support local entrepreneurs who have invested the time and effort to do things the right way and help showcase their products in our community. ❤️
While we absolutely CAN make breads, jams, candies, and many other baked goods ourselves, we don’t really want to. 😝 There simply aren’t enough hours in the day, and our passion has always been custom orders, cakes, desserts, and specialty treats!

We are pleased to announce that due to high demand, we will be producing fresh doughnuts daily this week while supplies last. Our flavors will include creme brûlée, raspberry, lemon, and additional varieties daily. We sold out every time we made them last week and are now taking advantage of the demand to offer our doughnuts daily.

Our friend asked a question and it has us curious…? We use AI for our photo backgrounds to have all the cake photos cohesive since sometimes(j/k all times lol) we are in a hurry and don’t have time for backdrops and special lighting 🤪
They are 100% our work but I wonder if others think they are fake or if you don’t mind the change…?
Should we post the raw pictures or is it ok to use AI for the background????

Well friends, we’re going to do something a little unusual tomorrow. 🗓️

We will be open 1:30pm-4:30pm tomorrow June 14th,2026. Come see us, grab a treat, and help us make the best of an unexpected situation.

This is NOT a permanent Sunday opening. Our priority is still recharging our internal batteries, spending time with family, and being in church on Sundays. ❤️

We worked 9am-9pm 2 days, 9am-2am 1 day and today 6:30am-7pm SO by the time we left this evening, we were completely exhausted, bummed out and honestly running on fumes. 🪫So we skimped on some “break-down”/closing procedures until we get recharged. 🫤

The festival weekend simply wasn’t what we expected. We spent days preparing, stocked our cases full, and poured everything we had into being ready. Unfortunately, the crowds and sales just didn’t match what we had hoped for.

Since we have to be at the bakery tomorrow anyway taking care of inventory and getting everything back in order, we thought we’d open the doors for a few hours and invite anyone who would like to stop by for an ice cream or a sweet treat. We’ll have discounted desserts available because let’s be honest—cake is married together better on day two anyway! 😉🍰
We’d love to see your smiling faces because truthfully, today was a huge disappointment, and your support means more than you know.

Let’s just say we’re ready for the aliens to head back to their planets! 👋🏻👋🏻✌🏻✌🏻
