Monday after Market, featuring the cutest handmade coffee cup from Raintree Studio LLC ☕

Is it just me, or do the leaves on this cup look like the wheat design I score into my classic sourdough loaves? 🌾🥖 That's exactly why it was calling my name when I stopped by their booth on Saturday. Well, that and the fact that there's just something special about sipping your morning coffee from a piece that was carefully handmade by a local artisan. One of my favorite things about the Henry Co. Farmers Market is getting to know the talented vendors around me.

While I've got your attention, I wanted to give everyone a quick heads-up about my summer schedule. I will be taking June 27th off from the market for a planned family staycation. We've got lots of projects to tackle around the homestead, and I'm looking forward to a little extra time with my crew.

That means you'll see me this week, June 20th, at the Henry County Farmers Market, and then I'll be back again on July 4th! 🇺🇸🥖

Speaking of July... there are some new Homestead Vendor laws going into effect on July 1st, which means I'll be adding some new and exciting product offerings to my booth. 👀
You'll definitely want to stay tuned to my page for more details because I can't wait to share what's coming next!

It was a wonderful day at the Henry Co. Farmers Market! The sun was shining and everyone was smiling! 🌞

This week, my missing letter was found quickly, despite the tricky clue. Aliyah and Piper found the letter at Raintree Studio LLC among the most beautiful pottery pieces! Stop by and take a look at The incredible craftsmanship that the owner Mike puts into all of his pieces. I ended up coming home with the most beautiful coffee cup, which will definitely become a favorite in our house.

Goodness, it's been quite a week! Last weekend, I spent some amazing quality time with family and ended up forgetting to post all about my weekly bread basket G I V E A W A Y 🧺, so before I get into what will be at this week's Henry Co. Farmers Market (6/13), let's recap last week:

A tisket, a tasket, a sourdough-filled basket 🧺
Last Saturday was probably my most difficult clue yet. Many people tried, but only these smart ladies pictured (Kaylynn, Katie, and Kimberly) found my missing letter in the Blue River Valley Ag Program booth! If you're looking to support some awesome kids and a wonderful ag program, head to the Blue River FFA tent for some quality meat products and other goodies. I picked up a few pounds of lamb to try last week, but they also have a crazy big selection of deliciousness. Come see the Blue River kids and all of the other amazing vendors at the Henry County Farmers Market this weekend! And don't forget to stop by my booth to get the clue for my missing letter!

This week, I'm bringing back a favorite bread product... FOCACCIA, both in a new flavor and in a crowd favorite. In addition to that, I'm keeping my menu a little fruity to go with this summer weather. Remember, it's ALL THINGS SOURDOUGH at the booth... Your tummy with thank you!

Okay, hear me out...
I know it's late spring. I know there are "spring flavors" and "fall flavors." But when I was trying to decide on this week's menu, I was sitting on my front porch on a crisp morning and all I could think about was how good a warm pumpkin muffin would be with a cup of coffee. ☕🎃
So yes, we're heading into a weekend where the high temperature is going to be hot, but I stand by my decision. A warm pumpkin muffin still sounds incredible.
From there, the rest of the menu just kind of fell into place. Don't worry, spring lovers! I doubled my blueberry lemon scones this week. 🍋🫐 And if you think about it, with blueberry lemon scones, pumpkin muffins, and s'mores scones, we've basically got the seasons well-represented.
The weather is looking absolutely beautiful for Saturday, so come spend the morning at the Henry Co. Farmers Market and grab some sourdough goodies!

🧺Monday After Market🧺

Mondays are my day to slow down and enjoy some of the things I picked up at the Henry Co. Farmers Market, so I thought it would be fun to start a little series called Monday After Market where I highlight some of the awesome vendors at the market!

This week, I stopped by Pretty Squish Co. and grabbed some homemade play dough for my daughter. They have the cutest setup with homemade slime, play dough, and kinetic sand, and then you get to add all kinds of fun toys and sensory goodies to make it your own. Bonus: it's super affordable!

My daughter has been playing with this for well over 45 minutes, which is a huge win in my book because it gave me enough time to get some dishes and laundry done! 😂

One of my favorite things about Pretty Squish Co. is that it's run by kids (with some help from mom). I love seeing young entrepreneurs out there learning how to run a business, work with customers, and create something people enjoy. How cool is that?
