Thank you for showing up on this drizzly, holiday weekend! It ended up being a wonderful Saturday at the Henry Co. Farmers Market ❤️

This week's winner of the sourdough basket was Olivia! She found the missing letter at Malek Coffee Roasters booth, among the most delicious coffee! ☕ At MCR's booth, you'll find freshly brewed coffee to sip on while you shop and also some delicious, locally roasted coffee beans. Unfortunately, I didn't get over to him today to buy some coffee, BUT I am going to pre-order some coffee beans for next weekend so that I don't miss out again. I love that he has that option now!

I can't wait to bake for you again next week! Let's pray for some sunshine ☀️

Hi friends! I will be back at the Henry Co. Farmers Market tomorrow morning with some delicious sourdough goodies! The weather forecast has changed its mind more than I do (which is saying A LOT), but the one consistent thing is that there won't be any storms... so say some prayers and cross those fingers that it remains true!

In honor of Memorial Day Weekend, I'll have some BERRY delicious sweet rolls in the booth. Since it's both race weekend and Memorial Day weekend, I am bringing a little less product than usual so be sure to stop by early to snag your favs!

Thank you to everyone who shopped in person or on Facebook with me today!

I feel bad that I wasn't able to stay outside at the Henry Co. Farmers Market this morning, but when I pulled into the parking lot to set up my booth, it was raining and thundering. With the number of hours that I spend prepping and baking all of the sourdough goodies, I just couldn't risk being in stormy weather. I'm sooo glad that it ended up being more drizzly than pouring rain today so that the other amazing vendors at the market had a good day!

A HUGE thanks to Amelia at Broad Street Blends for
1. Texting me last night to make me aware that we were going to have bad weather today (I was so busy in the bakery, I had no idea lol)
2. Offering up the front of her shop for me
3. Making me a delicious drink to fuel me for the day
4. Just generally being an incredibly sweet and supportive small business owner and friend!

I am beyond blessed to know and work with amazing people. In fact, I am almost in tears writing this post thinking about all of the amazing people who show up to support me in so many ways. As of now, Small Hilltop Homestead Bakery is still planning on being at the Henry Co. Farmers Market tomorrow morning! I'll have the sides set up on my tent, so you'll be able to stay covered in the rain. If anything changes, I have a nearby backup location for pickups and sourdough shopping (thanks Broad Street Blends 🫶🏻) I'll keep everyone updated via Facebook.

I have a bunch of goodies baked for tomorrow, so I'm hoping and praying that the rain stays away. This baker doesn't want anything going to waste! 😅
