Last week, after the weather changed, our starter went inactive and sluggish. ☹️ It can happen, but was a huge disappointment for our loyal Market Customers.
I have spent all week rebuilding the yeast population and will make a few loaves tomorrow to ensure we are back to normal. If everything comes out great, I will get some sourdough in The Lucky Pup booth this week! 🍞

A little sourdough update! ❤️

My starter has decided to give me a hard time this week, and despite my best efforts, it's just not cooperating. Rather than compromise on the quality of my bread, I've decided to take sourdough off this market's menu.
I'm disappointed but I only want to put out the best quality baked goods for my customers!

Thank you for understanding and for always supporting my little bakery! I'll keep you updated!
