I’ve been going back and forth about making this post, but I just want to be honest with everyone. 🤍
I’m seriously debating taking this week off and not attending the market this Saturday.
Lately, I’ve been feeling pretty discouraged. I absolutely LOVE making my treats, coming up with new flavors, setting up at the market, and getting to see everyone who supports my small business. But the reality is, right now I’m putting more money into supplies, ingredients, packaging, and making everything than I’m actually bringing back in from sales.
As a small business, that’s really hard to keep doing week after week. There’s so much that goes into preparing for a market behind the scenes, and when a lot of product comes home with me, it can be really discouraging—especially knowing how much time, money, and love went into making it.
I’m not saying I’m giving up on LoLos Treats. 💗 I’m just trying to decide if taking a week off, regrouping, and figuring out what makes the most sense moving forward might be what I need right now.
To everyone who has purchased from me, shared my posts, recommended me, stopped by my booth, or supported me in any way—THANK YOU. Seriously. Every single order and every person who stops by means more to me than you probably realize. 🥹🤍
I’m still deciding what Saturday will look like, but I wanted to be transparent about where I’m at. Owning a small business definitely has its highs and lows, and right now I’m just trying to figure out my next move. 💕
