Listen… if eating your vegetables like THIS is wrong, I don’t wanna be right, for real.

Because, Mira, adding homemade zucchini bread and chocolate chips to our cinnamon cream cookie AND stuffing it with a vanilla bean cheesecake center seems pretty aight to me yeah!

Yes, okay… we could’ve just eaten a vegetable.

Perro...no.

We had to Hot Oven it of course.

And tbh, we are not sorry cuz our Chippy Chini understood the assignment.

Listen ya'll, these permits need to hurry because what I'm creating is getting RIDICULOUS, and when we finally get to eat these elevated cookies, mira we're all gonna lose our minds.

I am for real, for real over here creating some absurdly delicious, ridiculously dope pastries that are about to take our cookies to a WHOLE different level.

And when I tell you we're gonna be hit I mean WE. Mi y Tu!

Because the things I’ve been creating lately?! 😮‍💨

I mean , peep this problematic caramelized cheesecake croissant with a miso honey caramel and a creamy+ dream vanilla bean cream.

Because y’all have been asking… I’m gonna tell you.

I’m good.
I'm alive.
Hot Oven Cookies hasn't gone away.

If you gotta know(which you clearly do mis curiosos), I’m more than good. I’m over here having a good time and excited for all of us.😂🥰

While we’ve been working through permits, decisions and all the moving pieces of our relaunch, I’ve been using this quiet time for some very sweet R&D. Wink wink. 👀

I’ve been visiting new bakeries, revisiting old favorites and basically eating my way through research. 😂

And it’s reminded me exactly who we are.

Look, I LOVE the social media hype and all the pretty stuff, but there’s something about those old-school bakeries that have been standing on quality and product integrity for decades that hits different.

So, inspired by my favorite O.G. Bakeries, I’ve been putting on my chef’s coat and my Cookie Chemist hat and getting busy.

That viral buttercream toast? Yeah… that’s going into some cookies.

Those guava pastelitos I made from scratch? Yep. The Guava Cheesecake is getting a glow-up.

And mira, there’s more. 👀

Because for me it's not just about grabbing that bag yeah or you just dropping by and getting cookies.

Nah.

I want you craving them.

I want you getting in the car. Driving hours.

Hopping on a plane like my Florida Chico did.👀🤪🤣

Or grabbing your box, getting to the car and turning right back around because one box wasn’t enough.
(As a fellow big back I highly respect that for real! I mean your girl bought a suitcase while vacationing to fill it with Cuban pastries to bring home.👀😉)

THAT’S the kind of stuff we’re making.

So yeah, we’ve been quiet.

But we’ve been baking up some 🔥🔥🔥stuff.

Cuz around here, the rule is simple:

If I don’t crave it…you don’t taste it.
