Long before the small business was thought of, a young girl stood in the kitchen waiting for homemade bread to come out of the oven. She anticipated the smell, the warmth, the butter, and maybe even a little cinnamon and sugar. She treasured this moment so much that her mom eventually nicknamed her "The Breaditarian" and a business name was born. That love developed and so with it did the bread recipes.
The Breaditarian makes sourdough and fresh-milled breads that are both delicious and good for you. Artisan loaves, sandwich bread, rye rolls, bagels, focaccia, and mini loaves small enough to make you smile are common items on the table, but new flavors show up on the table every week, so there's always a reason to come back and see what The Breaditarian is experimenting with!
Cherish started her business in 2023 and has been bringing that bread to the C-Street City Market since April 2024. She thinks about bread differently than most: bread as a thread running through cultures and centuries — one she's trying to honor in every loaf she makes.
Ask her what she loves about the C-Street City Market, and she'll tell you it's the way the market brings people together into a community instead of an institution—artists, farmers, bakers, readers, dog owners, and more—all building something real with each other, one Saturday at a time.
Stop by Cherish's booth this week to see what's new on the table. Just don't be surprised if it disappears before you make it home.
