I thought a little introduction might be helpful! đź‘‹

My name is Sarah, and I’m a wife and mom of three littles. After graduating from the U of A in 2012, I worked for a college ministry for several years before transitioning into the corporate world, doing marketing for a tech consulting firm in Dallas. We moved our family back to NWA summer of 2024 because we missed our family and friends here (and duh, it’s the best place to live)!

I still work remotely & part-time for that consulting firm, and with having a baby in February, things in our home are a little busy! But I have always cared about feeding my family nutritious foods, and after learning about the nutritional benefits of milling your own wheat 🌾, I was all in. Such a simple swap for a huge nutritional impact! And with a food group my family eats regularly (PB&J sandwiches everyday for my 4 year old… mamas you feel me).

I felt God put it on my heart to offer this bread to our community and educate others about the benefits. Maybe my head has been in the sand in newborn land the past five years, but somehow I’d never heard about milling wheat until spring 2025 and I wish I had known about it earlier!

I’m not trying to grow a big business necessarily… mostly just trying to offer good things to others and take a step of faith.

If you’d like to try the bread, DM me! It’s not only good for you, it’s also delicious. If you want to learn how to mill your own wheat, I’m here for that too and happy to answer any questions!

Here’s to healthy homes and families! 🍞

Did you know? Flour begins to oxidize and lose nutritional value as soon as it is milled and exposed to air! That means if you aren’t baking with freshly milled flour, you are missing out on grain’s natural nutrients, including B vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate), vitamin E, and minerals like iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc.

Freshly milled bread offers all the nutritional value God intended AND a better flavor compared to bread made with store-bought, refined flour! The milling process preserves the bran and germ, which are rich in vitamins, minerals, and healthy oils, providing a more nutrient-dense and flavorful loaf. 🍞💪

After learning about the nutritional benefits of using freshly milled flour in baking, I felt like I was being nudged to offer this bread to others.

Gluten has gotten a seriously bad rap over the last few years, and when looking at the bread at the grocery store, that's valid! But gluten itself isn't the issue. The issue is the way wheat is processed and the type of wheat used in conventional bread production. The freshly milled wheat berry actually has amazing nutritional value that many people with gluten intolerances and potentially even celiac can enjoy!

So to start, I'll be selling my freshly milled large bread loaf for $10. I'm using only organic, high quality ingredients that I feel confident giving to my family.

To order, please DM! Local pickup is every Friday at Gulley Park in Fayetteville at 11:30am and 4:00pm Sunday at Sams Club in Bentonville.
