“Wow, it must be nice.”
Something someone said to me recently while talking about our weekend plans. And honestly, it caught me off guard.
Because yes, it IS nice. But what people don’t always see is everything that goes on behind the scenes.
This picture was taken at 4:12 AM. I hadn’t been to sleep yet, but I was still up fulfilling orders. Between working 40 hours a week, raising our 9-month-old daughter, building a business, being a partner, and keeping up with a household, sleep is usually the first thing sacrificed. And that’s just my side of things! My boyfriend puts in 10+ hour days of his own.
Some days I’m running on a few hours of sleep and a whole lot of determination😂
I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing it because sometimes we only see the highlights of someone else’s life, not the hard work it takes to get there.
So YES, it is nice to get away for a weekend, make memories as a family, and enjoy the life we’re working so hard to build.
Just remember, you’re often seeing the reward, not the sacrifice behind it❤️
And to every single person who supports this little business of mine, THANK YOU. You’re part of what makes all those late nights worth it🫶🏼
