I will be out of the kitchen starting tomorrow to head to Orlando for this year's CookieCon (and to hit up a couple of theme parks while I'm at it!)

It's National Best Friends Day and I want to give a shout out to a few of my baking besties for all the love and support they show on an (often) daily basis🤗

I'm so glad we can get together for lunch (can you tell our favorite spot is Olive Garden?) to talk about all things cakes and cookies, giggle about our kitchen mishaps, and rave about our favorite designs.

Apparently they (whoever "they" are) decided we needed a day to appreciate the spicy delicacy halfway through the year and who am I to argue with them 😅

Have you heard of the viral dot cakes? Apparently I've been living under a rock as I had not heard about them until earlier this week 😂

Anyway, if you haven't, it's a personal sized container of cake with a smooth top of buttercream icing, dipped in a bath of the little dot sprinkles (I guess that's where the name comes from?)
