We're NEVER too busy for a smile and a chat. Sometimes it's good to slow down (as long as we're not wound up from eating too many cookies). Like today...one of our customers came in for a slice of our spinach-mushroom quiche. She sat all comfortable at one of our little bistro tables and we had the most enjoyable time just chatting and talking together. There's just something about food and fellowship that's just so...so...sweet.

Oh yes! November, we love you. We thank you. For giving us pumpkin bread and apple muffins and filling the air with your fragrant spices. Your cinnamon, your cloves, your nutmeg. Breathe it in, people. Harvest gratitude. Cultivate Thanksgiving. Remember there is good in the world. (And dessert...well, it's a good-thing!)
