The night before pickups I had my kids help by randomly adding a ticket to the pre-order bags for me. They loved the task and took it very seriously! 😊

Who had a chance to grab a sample of the Pumpkin Spice Swirl Sourdough Bread this past pickup day?

I heard all good feedback so far😊 I'm excited to be offering this delicious pumpkin bread all season long! Offered in both a classic boule (round) loaf or a sandwich style loaf. Also with the option to have it pre-sliced which makes for a convenient and quick snack, breakfast, or evening treat! I love to toast mine with butter and add a little extra sprinkle of cinnamon sugar!

I've been asked many times if my cookies are sourdough or not. The simple answer is NO. I had already developed a cookie recipe that was beyond perfect, like "best cookie I've ever had" perfect. Which I've heard many times from many people over the years since starting CDCo. And I did try and incorporate my sourdough starter into the dough. But they just weren't the same. So my thinking was "why mess with something that's already perfect"

So tell me, do you prefer or even care if your cookies are sourdough or not? Or do you just want a good cookie that hits all the taste buds just right? 🤩😆

Good morning and Happy Saturday!
I just want to start by saying how grateful I am for everyone who showed up to the Grab & Go stand this week and supported my small bakery! I sold out of donuts within hours! 🤯🎉

I appreciate you all so much for taking the time out of your busy days to come and support my small family business, you're all appreciated more than you could know!

So secondly I could really use everyone's help... it's a good problem to have but I want to make the right decisions to best serve you all.

You all have been going crazy for the Apple Cider Donuts and the Pumpkin Spice donuts were a hit this week as well. I don't mind adding them again to the next menu but I would also like to offer a variety of other goodies too.

So you all tell me? Keep the Donuts on the menu? Or switch it up?

If you picked up a pre-order this week, I attached a "Sneak Peak" list of some of the items I am looking forward to offering this fall. I have so many ideas and my creative brain is bursting at the seems with plans for the fall menu but I also want to give you all what you want the most. And im only one person so I do need to limit the menu to just a few options for each bake week.

So please help me out and let me know, keep the donuts on the menu every week? Or keep the rotation going? I'll share a picture in the comments of the "Sneak Peak" flyer for the Fall Menu lineup.

FUNNY STORY!

I had these chocolate chip cookies sitting in a box since last bake day (August 13th). They were intended for someone but they never made it there.

Today the kids asked about them and I gave them permission to go ahead and try them. Knowing they would probably be hard and dried out by now. My son Luke takes a bite and he says "hm taste just like Publix Cookies" 🤣 haha so I guess my cookies once they are two weeks old taste like the local grocer store cookies. Sounds about right!🤣
