Happy 18th Birthday to my niece, Violet Eva! She also graduated a couple weeks ago 👩‍🎓
This is my first number cake. Pink sugar cookie base with vanilla Swiss meringue frosting and chocolate cake top layer. Strawberry macarons made by me, filled with strawberry buttercream. I even made one in the shape of a graduation cap 🎓

Just for fun… I made maple walnut rollout sugar cookies, and added freeze dried apples. Turned out that the apples only added moisture, not flavor. Oh well 🤷‍♀️ They’re still tasty 😋
