This weekend, I had the honor of making a wonderful cake for a wonderful person, to celebrate their 75th birthday! It was a big family reunion, with almost 90 people in attendance. The cake was a big hit! Not bad for my first time working with fondant either, I think! Happy birthday, Linda! I hope you have many more birthdays coming your way!
The cake is a gluten free checkerboard cake, layered with my dark chocolate mousse, white chocolate mousse, and ganache. It was covered in chocolate fondant and edible sugar gems, and covered in roses.
