Combat Cakes and Creations was started by Derick and his wife Megan. Derick as a disabled combat veteran and suffers from many ailments including PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and a brain injury. Derick is studying baking and pastry at a local university and has found that decorating cakes and baking bread helps to minimize stress and anxiety. We would love to share his story of healing through cake decorating so please check back as we post new cakes and even share blog posts.
