Get ready for a fresh experience! The City of Spokane Valley - Municipal Government has partnered with Four Roots and the Spokane Conservation District to bring you the Spokane Valley Farmers Market at The Scale House Market for the 2026 season. Join us every Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., June 5 through Aug. 28, 2026, at 4422 E 8th Ave in Spokane Valley, where you can shop local produce and goods, enjoy live entertainment, delicious eats and fun activities for all ages.

Thanks to The Scale House Market, the beloved Spokane Valley Farmers Market will return to our community after the previous market partner was unable to continue. We’re thankful for keeping the market in the Valley and look forward to long-term plans to continue working with The Scale House Market to move it to Balfour Park in 2028, after construction of the playground and splash pad are complete next year.

Sunday… What a day!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our sourdough focaccia classes - we know it started off a little *too* chilly outside, but you all stuck it out and turned it into such a warm, fun, and genuinely exciting experience. Watching everyone dive in, get creative, and share laughs (and delicious focaccia!) made it all so worth it.

We’re so grateful for your energy, patience, and enthusiasm—you’re what made the class so special.

And good news… we’re already dreaming up the next one 👀 A *customizable charcuterie focaccia class* is in the works! Dates are still to be determined, but trust us—you won’t want to miss this one.

Did you know? At House in a Hill Bakery we source our whole wheat flour locally from Hasselstrom Farm. We are so lucky to get our hands on this incredible ingredient. This heritage fife makes THE SOFTEST AND MOST TENDER crumb I have ever had the pleasure to work with and who can compete with freshly milled flour?

All of our sourdough loaves are an AP and whole wheat blend but we now have a 100% whole wheat loaf hitting the shelves tomorrow at The Scale House Market.
