May is National Foster Youth Awareness Month. We wanted to acknowledge a friend who helps children and youth in foster care in a sweet way, Grace & Cakes! This amazing nonprofit gifts cakes to kids in foster care who may never have experienced a birthday celebration. 🎂
We know cakes don’t grow on trees, so with the help of our employees, we raised $1,930! To mix things up, Numerica matched the first $1,000 for a donation total of $2,930.
The Blissful Whisk helped us with a sweet celebration: one cupcake for every $100 we raised.
Shout out to Grace & Cakes and a sweet fleet of local bakeries that work to make this magic happen: The Blissful Whisk, Sweets Geeky Cakes, Three Birdies Bakery, Bean and Pie, Catee Cakes LLC, Northwest Sugar, The Cakist, Breaüxdoo Bakery, Sweet Frostings. Blissful Bakeshop, and more!
