While delivering the cake for this gorgeous wedding, the parents of the groom came up to me and said that I had done their wedding cake 31 years ago! I was thrilled until I thought that I must really be old!!!

I have been asked by many people for recipes, especially the Ginger Snaps I made on one of the Holiday Baking Championship challenges. I wish I could take credit for this wonderful recipe; however, it is from a friend of mine. Many thanks to Sharon McHugo! Her recipe actually got Just American Desserts a win at Epicurean Delight a few years ago too! The cookie is moist, chewy with the right amount of spice- perfect!

I pride myself on my Hot Milk Sponge Cake for my Holiday Yule Logs! Warmed eggs and sugar whipped until tripled in volume, cake flour and baking powder followed by hot milk and butter delicately folded into the batter. Light and delicious, yet buttery.
Oh, and don't forget to watch Episode 7 of the Holiday Baking Championship on Food Network, Monday night at 9:00pm😊
