Yesterday was dough day, that’s when I make all of my doughs for the next week, it is ALSO the day I get any of my cutters made up that I need. Once the files have been uploaded to my Bambu A1, I go about making my doughs!

This week’s doughs; Vanilla, Mocha, Chocolate-Chocolate Chip and Almond!

After a little renovation and a few days away, BlackEarth Java Spencer will reopen at 6:00am Thursday, August 27th, and we are so ready to see all of you again!

And somehow, the timing couldn’t be sweeter. 🥹

Eight years. We truly don’t take that lightly.

There are so many wonderful businesses in our community, and the fact that our guests continue to choose our little locally owned coffee shop means more to us than we can adequately put into words. This award belongs just as much to our incredible team and our incredibly loyal guests as it does to us. You are the reason we get to keep doing what we love. ❤️

Sometimes you just get one of THOSE customers. You know the one…
So yesterday I’m approached about back to school for TODAY. I’m asked for eight cookies for 8 different individual teachers/principals. Uhhhh…,okay? Get this. Wants them packaged ready to gift the next day (today) and has all these things she wants on them.

Now I’m not one to complain and you might be wondering “Why did you even bother with her??!” Well….

FUNDRAISER ALERT!

We have been blessed with an abundance of nice, ripe bananas, so we’re turning them into banana bread for a good cause!

We’re doing a FREE-WILL DONATION fundraiser, with all proceeds going toward the local Clay County UDMO Outreach Office and the local Head Start.

Loaves will be baked fresh Friday morning and will need to be picked up Friday afternoon or Saturday before 1:00 PM.
