It has been almost 5 years since we opened the doors and sold our first cupcake in Boiling Springs...it seems like yesterday that we outgrew that shop and moved into the little house closer to town, and then outgrew that and moved to our current location. We have sold lots of cupcakes, made lots of friends and been part of lots of celebrations! We've had our share of growing pains, failures,and even some misdirected energies, but we've also done some great things and been involved in lots and lots of some great causes!!
So, it is with heavy hearts and bittersweet tears that we announce that we are closing the doors to Cupcake Creations on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 5:30 pm.
I am so very grateful to our "fans", our very loyal friends who came for lunch every week, who took home our cupcakes, ordered our cakes, and who made us a part of their lives. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I also need to thank everyone that made Cupcake Creations work, at the expense of their time and energy ... Misti, Donna, Crystal, Gloria, Doris, Sarah, Sandi, Sharyn, Hannah, Carrie, Skate, Victoria, Emily, Julia, my mom and dad, my 3 sons ... I am especially grateful for our current staff; Shelly who has worked long days and lots of hours for very little pay, Vivian and Jareth, Forence, Lindsay, Julie, who so beautifully decorated our cakes, and Erica, without whom I would have closed long ago. I do not know what I will do without her 7:00am daily calls and unending enthusiasm...thank you for loving Cupcake Creations like you do.
Thank you to each and every person who has touched our lives, we hope in some small way that we have touched yours...
