One direction we've been slowly moving toward at the Shed is offering more gifty items that you can mix and match to create something meaningful and unique. We love helping you put together gifts that feel personal and aren't something you'll find just anywhere.

Kassie had the great idea of bringing in dough bowls as a base for gift sets, and she put together a few examples for us here at the Shed. I couldn't resist pairing them with Kat's handmade clay magnets because they look so stinkin' cute together!

Did you know Kat uses real basil, lavender, flowers, vintage jewelry pieces, and other unique treasures to create the impressions in her magnets? She also hand paints every single one herself. I'd say that's pretty impressive for a 7-year-old!

If you're putting together a gift set, be sure to grab one of Kat's magnets. Each one has a little sticker on the back with her name and age, which adds an extra special touch and reminds the recipient that their gift helped encourage a young maker's creativity.

Every item has a story, and sometimes that story starts with a talented little 7-year-old sitting at a table creating something beautiful.
