So let's talk fondant. It's fun and beautiful but it takes a lot of time. A fondant cake isn't cheap. We still follow the same pricing, but the hourly decorator fee increases because it takes hours to create those masterpieces. So this cake is a standard 2 layer cake, which costs $35. It is also fruit filled, which adds another $10. Then the fondant took 3 hours to do, at $10 an hour totally a $30 decorating fee, making this cake cost $75, without the characters. Any additional decoration would be added at cost, so the cost of these characters was around $15.00, bringing this cake to $90. I know that seems high, but just look at that cake!!! However, any supplies you bring, are always taken off the cost of the cake!
