We attended a really great event last night, the Lincoln Dinner sponsored by Owen County, KY Republican Party.
Though we did not get any pictures with them, we met the candidates, listened to speeches, heard a few jokes but in each message, a passion arose for our country. The underlying theme, the foundation on which USA was built, God.
As we look towards God to heal and bless this nation, our USA, we must also pray aggressively, be obedient to act and support leaders who align with our Constitution and The Bible.
I am guilty of not being more involved.
As a Christian, I see our country, over the past few years, moving away from our Reliance on God and in God.
We cannot accept it. We can no longer just be silent.
If we want America to be One Nation Under God, we must be active as Christ Followers to elect those who align themselves with those beliefs.
Will they check off every box?
No.
Will they be perfect?
No.
Will they always do what I think they should?
No.
But, we can pray.
We can seek Holy Spirit.
We can cover each elected official (from both parties) with prayer.
With God nothing is impossible.
It's the prayers of the righteous that availed much!
This country was founded in God we trust. We chose God. We need to continue to choose Him.
Get out to vote in the primary election.
Seek God.
Let's keep God first in America.
