Today's bake is Pretzel Slider Buns!

I'm on the LAST day of a 9 day cleanse. For the past week+, I've been eating fruits and veggies....that's it! While I feel really great 🤩, I.WANT.MEAT. 🐄 🐔 🐖

Cut to me conjuring up my weekend's meals 🤤 starting with roasted turkey sliders with spinach, cheddar and fig jam...on a pretzel bun 😉 YASSSSS...get in my mouth!

Annual guy's VT trip calls for some jalapeno bagels!

Last growing season, we had a plethora of jalapenos leftover. They're so easy to freeze and use in all sorts of different recipes. So, when the request for jalepeno bagels came in, I got kind of excited!

Unfortunately, I'm not able to taste test any before they leave the home front ....shucks! BUT! They do look mighty tasty, don't cha think? 🤤🥯

I CAN'T STOP EATING THIS!! It may not help that I'm exuberantly hungry...but really, I cannot tell which bite I love the most. The maple pumpkin swirl with the crispy top of the bun. Or the whole enchilada that's smothered with the maple brown butter cream cheese frosting. Somebody help me! I'll be in a food coma for the next 24 hours 🤤

Special request from that handsome son of mine for pumpkin cinnamon buns. And by special request, I mean we both forgot to have him take some home on Thanksgiving 😬 So a fresh batch it is!!!

He's pretty special in that he'll let me get creative with flavors. I'm thinking maple cream cheese and pumpkins swirl. Pumpkin frosting (I said this was a pumpkin recipe, right??). Then 🤔 toasted pecans? Or candied? Spiced??

What say you?

Today I'm making pumpkin sinnys 👏 featuring roasted local sugar pumpkins, we have a pumpkin sinny dough with a brown sugar, pumpkin, cream cheese and butter smear and chocolate chips!! SOMEONE loves anything with chocolate. How do we win his heart over?? We add chocolate chips! Bless my nephews heart 😆

I've tucked them in the fridge for an overnight rest and will bake tomorrow morning. When they're out of the oven, I'll slather them with a whipped pumpkin cream cheese frosting. I love pumpkin season 🎃🍂🌰🦃
