After stepping back part of this week to spend time with family tomorrow I'll be getting back in the kitchen prepping for this weekend. And yes, I really do start days ahead of being open. Every single item is made from scratch...jams, crumble toppings, long fermented doughs, etc.

With some extra time on my hands this week I also decided to rewrite some of my recipes. About 90% of the recipes I use now are ones I have written myself. When I'm writing a recipe I often test it only using a 1-2 times batch to not waste ingredients. Most bread recipes are easily scaled by writing the recipe in percentages. However, for my scones they were just written my weight. After tasting a leftover scone recently I realized now that I'm making anywhere from a 6-10 times batch at a time the texture was suffering. So it was back to the drawing board to improve them!

Just as a reminder we will not be taking preorders this week and The Flour Stand will be closed. We will reopen on June 5th with new flavors for the month.

My grandfather passed recently and we will be taking this weekend to spend time with family and remember his life. I am so thankful for your continued support of my small business and hope you'll place an order or stop by to see us in June!

Today we have some focaccia, sourdough demi baguettes, 6pk cupcakes, cookies, scones, and mini lemon loaf cakes.

We had a ton of pre-orders this week so priority will go to those first but I will still have some items for sale in the stand. Such as cookies, focaccia, sourdough demi baguettes, cranberry orange scones, and a few 6-packs of cupcakes.

Honor system payment via cash or mobile QR codes (Venmo, Cashapp, debit).

72 Clemence Hill Rd in Southbridge. You may park in either of our driveways if you want to pull off the road.

The Flour Stand is open today and tomorrow from 10am-7pm or sold out. We have already had a few customers stop by within 10 minutes of opening. Although I have double the product I made last week please keep an eye on our stories for what's left throughout the day.
