We use only the best ingredients including King Arthur flours, local Maine eggs, real butter and local fruit whenever possible. Our small market sells a handpicked selection of "things that go with bread" including cheeses, condiments, cured meats, and w**e.

We’ve got some good news and some not so good.

Some good..we are OPEN all weekend!!!

….and the not so good. The heat took its toll at our Bread Kitchen. While we’ve tried to make it work with refrigeration down and crazy hot temps, at this point we’re throwing in the towel.

We’ll have a VERY limited supply of bagels and bread today (Saturday) and NO bread or bagels on Sunday.

Some better news!! We WILL have a full counter of amazing sweet treats from the pastry team both days as well as coffee, savory bites and good cheer.

Once again thanks for understanding and please know no one is more disappointed than we are that we aren’t able to offer the full spread this weekend. Hopefully everything will be back to rights next week!!

We’re working hard to make it work but damn…..our equipment is UNHAPPY!!! The incredible bread team is doing what they can but In order to try and get limited bagel numbers into the hands of as many people as possible we’ll be limiting customers to 1 dozen instead of 2.

Hello early risers and bagel lovers! We are looking for a bread/bagel baker with a positive outlook who is ready to learn and contribute as a team member to our stellar Bread Kitchen crew. Duties include all aspects of the bagel bake, including scaling, shaping, handling, and managing dough; boiling and baking our delicious bagels, as well as some baking of our seasonally-based assortment of artisan breads and baguettes. While some commercial baking experience is preferred, we are happy to speak with someone looking to advance into commercial baking.

This is a part-time position 3-4 days per week with flexibility of days but must include one weekend day. Hours are 3 a.m. - 11 a.m.

We offer very competitive wages, PTO, sick pay, health, dental, and vision insurance (including a HSA option) for full time employees. Other benefits include: birthday pay, a birthday cake of your choosing, VIP access to bagels and bread, pooled tips, and all the on-site coffee/snacks you can handle. Hello!! We are looking for someone to round out our small but mighty savory/deli team. We make incredible sandwiches both for breakfast and lunch, quiche, salads and so much more…this is great opportunity for a creative team player who loves food and community. Ideally we are looking for full time Wednesday through Sunday but part time is an option….weekends are required. Hours are 6am - 2pm.

Thursdays - Focaccia
Fridays- Grilled cheese bread (think Wonder Breads younger, hotter cousin!)
Saturday - Cinnamon Raisin (look at that 🌀)
