The Tennessee WINGSHINE is made with Honey and Moonshine and is a very unique recipe. I use it on all types of meat. It taste different on different meats

This right here is why I am greatful to bake from home!

This week (really past month) have been busier than what most people probably pack into a year. I will always stand by my belief that you give as much as you can, be present as much as possible, and use all 24 hours in a day if possible!!!

The day started about 6:30 then hit snooze until 6:42. Worked with some amazing ladies ro give back to our amazing teachers. Ran 1 to physical therapy while another was seen for a concussion. Broke some speed barrier heading to take one to football then coming in on 2 wheels to grab another 2 for a game. Went to coach (not our best night in the dirt). Came home to start work about 8:45 pm. 2 dozen goes out tomorrow I hadn't even started 🤪 get them baked. Cook dinner. Make the icing. Feed the crew. (This was about 9:30 and yes I'm still picking at my dinner hours later). Flood the cookies. Get everyone situated (baths, uniforms for tomorrow... you know the normal mom stuff) then in a quiet house finish the cookies. Now at 11:30 I can finish eating then get to bed soon.

People ask me all the time why I don't just open a bakery. Its because of times like this. My kids are only going to be this involved for a short amount of years before they grow and don't need or want me around so I want to take advantage of making these memories as often as possible. They are sleeping I am working. This week while they are at school I have gotten to spoil their teachers and other school staff. If I had set hours I wouldn't have this flexibility. I would miss out on so many memories with them.

All of this to just say THANK YOU!

Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to keep my at home cottage bakery operating and growing!!! You all mean the world to me and my family!

The National Cornbread Festival was a success! Loved getting to hug the neck of so many of you that support our small buisness.

Another crazy week (yes I've been baking since I walked in the door from the festival) so please bare with me a little longer before I will have some time to sit down and message everyone back.
