I am a baker, not a cake decorator. 😂

This homemade lemon poke cake got an entire bag of lemons, a rich homemade lemon curd, enough butter to make your cardiologist nervous, and a thick layer of lemon buttercream frosting.

Is she pretty? Not particularly. Is she the kind of cake you sneak another piece of at 10 PM standing in front of the fridge? Absolutely.

Some desserts are made for Instagram. This one was made for eating. 🍋💛

These might be one of my favorite desserts I’ve made lately.

A sweet, buttery sourdough crust topped with creamy cheesecake filling, juicy cherries, and crunchy pistachios. The combination is rich, tangy, and just the right amount of sweet.

Honestly, cherry cheesecake and pistachios were made for each other. 🍒✨
