Thursday…..... Monday.... To when I made my wedding cake. It was one of the first cakes I'd attempted on my own. Looking back now, making my wedding cake the night before, with no real clue what I was doing, probably wasn't the smartest idea. (My husband deserves credit for his patience on all things I think " won't take that long.")
It was the start to a creative part of life I hadn't realized I would enjoy so much. I always used to say
"I'm not very creative" but I think that creativity is just like any skill. It has to be learned and practiced.
