Shucking corn is the perfect job for little ones! We put up whole kernels and cream-style corn today. In a few days we will be freezing some whole cobs.

Peach preserve, peach jam, and sliced peaches in a honey syrup. These jars just need to be labeled, then they will be ready to place on the shelf. Not many things are more rewarding than looking at shelves full of jars that you preserved yourself for your family and friends.

It's becoming increasingly clear that there are huge benefits to your gut microbiome when you consume fermented foods, particularly fermented vegetables. These fermented pickles stay on the counter to ferment for 5 days before they go in the refrigerator and used on burgers, sandwiches, or just a delicious snack!

This is why I make sourdough bread for my family. I believe in using the best quality ingredients possible in all of my cooking. This includes organic ingredients when possible, aluminum-free baking powder, and using parchment paper as a liner when I have to use aluminum pans. It sometimes requires extra steps in cooking and pricier ingredients, but produces a better quality product in my opinion.

Welcome to my home bakery page! I'm Lacey. I have grown up watching and helping my mom and great grandma bake, cook, and can. Once my son started getting old enough to eat solid foods I began to really have a problem with everything that is added to the products in the stores. Therefore, I took it upon myself to start baking everything I could at home and cooking from scratch. I started sourdough in the summer of 2023. I have decided to start a home bakery because I really enjoy creating quality baked goods. I'm a stay-at-home mom now, but I have taught first grade for years and hold a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a Certified Academic Language Therapist License (CALT). I will be offering a limited quantity of my family's favorites and seasonal items. Weekly items will be posted on Sundays and ready on Fridays.
