Sweet Surprises & Memories is a home-based service located in South Burlington, VT serving custom cakes, cupcakes, and a variety of treats for any and all occasions. It started as a hobby and with my professional background (prior to children) as an architect, creating cakes is just an extension of my creativity. I enjoy creating my own designs just as much as working with my customers to create a

one-of-a-kind piece for their special occasion. I love what I do and enjoy every part of the process - from the moments the ideas pop or the request from my customers to the time I take photos of the completed work. All cakes are made fresh, never frozen products and are available with at least 24 hours notice. Cake and/or cupcakes for your special event or party are available with at least 2 weeks notice depending on the complexity of the design. I work with both edible and non edible cake toppers. Gum paste is used for 100% edible toppers while non-toxic polymer clay is used for non edible topper. Toppers made out of polymer clay are not intended as toys as they are breakable. Each product is handcrafted, i.e. no mold used, so no two pieces are the same. Each piece is unique and has its own personality. Due to the handmade nature, colors and styles may vary slightly.
