New this week, vegan cake pops! 🍰 🍭

These special cake pops were for a gender reveal and with the new momma’s parents living a vegan lifestyle, they couldn’t be left out! The only real challenge was coloring the vegan ones. I bought plant based food coloring and sprinkles and the red food dye baked looking like nothing and when mixed in the “dough” after, it looked like a blueberry which did not work. Fast forward, I grabbed some strawberry powder I had and that’s how I colored the vegan pops. Luckily, there were come regular ones also so they were much more obvious.

The feedback was, “My parents said the Vegan ones were awesome my Mom had 2 which says A LOT!” I’ll take it as a win! 🩷

P.S. If any vegans have tips for coloring foods, I’ll take it! lol
