Imagine walking into your wedding reception and your new wife surprises you with the most bada$$ floating Star Wars’ Millennium Falcon grooms cake! Such was the case when Jennifer contacted us for the beautiful and exciting day in August at Midtown Loft & Terrace. Filled with our amazing Heavenly White cake and alternating layers of Caramel Sinful Buttercream, we can’t even begin to imagine how awesome this surprise was. Congrats to the happy couple! Incredible...

What an incredible honor to make a monumental cake for such a monumental birthday! The Aronofsky siblings so loved the geode elements from the National Geographic cake we made for the launch preview for that they commissioned City Cakes to make their rock-obsessed father’s 80th birthday cake! We loved forming all the elements using Simi Cakes isomalt and molds, alternative fondant techniques using Renshaw Americas and other cool sugar treatments, coloring treatments with Sugarpaste, LLC and underneath it all was our Precious Yellow and Chocolate Decadence cake with Dark Chocolate Gananche filling on Cake Board Avaré. An incredible party for an incredible guy at Loring Place on W 8th Street, many thanks to Patti and Darren Aronofsky for trusting in us! 🎂🌎🎉

My son Benny...Does GREAT work.

If this adorable first birthday cake and cupcakes today for little Sienna at A La Mode Shoppe doesn’t make you want to doze off sleep on this Valentine’s Day Eve, maybe the fact that City Cakes will be open an hour early tomorrow at 10am will! Come grab some treats or order via Postmates or UberEats even earlier before the lunch rushes begin. Cupcakes, cookies and frosting galore, with lots of hearts and love to spare. We do what we do out of passion and love, so to have a day to celebrate that emotion with all of our friends, families and customers is just perfect in our book. ❤️❤️❤️ As always, please don’t get mad at us if we sell out of things - we are working around the clock just have limitations on output in our 320sf shop, though we make every intention to not run out of products. Our adopted son Benny did this by using our colors...It's great.

Quite the centerpiece for a NYE birthday bash put on by Cherry Hill Events at Untitled (at the Whitney Museum) 😍🎂🎉 The already gorgeous space was transformed into a stunning display by the Cherry Hill gents, and this antique phonograph made from sugar elements was filled with Chocolate Decadence cake and Chocolate Ganache, and Lush Amaretto cake with Original Buttercream.
