The Basque Boulangerie Cafe opened on the historic square of Sonoma in 1994 and offers two generations of baking excellence. The Basque Boulangerie's breads have won the Sonoma County Harvest Fair's Sweepstakes Awards. The Pastry Chef at the Basque has been featured on the Food Network for her famous Beehive cake and slices. The Basque Cafe offers an extended cafe style menu available all day. For lunch, favorites include sandwiches like prosciutto & brie on a hard roll, Nicoise salad, homemade soups, and daily specials. The aroma of freshly ground coffee beans fills the air while baristas prepare your favorite coffee drinks. Wines by the glass are most competitively priced.
