Probably one of the most popular events ever held in Soap Lake outside of the Great Canoe Race was mud wrestling held during the Greek Festival which was, bar none, one of the coolest events in Eastern Washington. Anyone recognize the contestant, or anyone in the crowd?

After over 11 years of serving this incredible community through Cloudview Kitchen, Cloudview Farm Ephrata we're excited to share what's next. Bringing music, art food and vibe, we happily roll out The Neon Mesa.

This will not change our regular hours food/coffee service Thursday-Sunday 9am-5pm. This is an addition to our cafe! Cloudview kitchen is still running as normal!

A new home for live music, art, creativity, and connection in the heart of Soap Lake. (In the middle of the cafe, and Bumi+Koh)

What began as a simple dream to bring farm fresh food and French/Italian patisserie has grown into a cafe/venue that holds more than just food, it’s become a 3rd place for our community and a place where independent musicians, touring artists, local creatives, and our community can gather under one roof.

From indie and folk to electronic music, singer-songwriters, experimental performances, art nights, and everything in between, The Neon Mesa is built to celebrate original voices and unforgettable evenings.

The Neon Mesa is now a permanent part of the Cloudview Kitchen family. Come enjoy dinner (during concert nights we’ll have a 5 entre menu and yummy tapas), stay for a show, discover your next favorite artist, and help us build something truly special together.

This isn't just another venue.
It's a place to slow down, listen deeply, dance freely, and support the artists who make our communities vibrant.

💔 It breaks our hearts to share that the 2026 Soap Lake Moonlight Paddle has been canceled

Due to the expected smoke and unfavorable weather conditions, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event

We know many of you were looking forward to a beautiful evening on the water beneath the moonlight, and we are deeply disappointed that we will not be able to gather together as planned

The health and safety of our paddlers, volunteers, and community must always come first. Thank you for your understanding, your support, and your enthusiasm for this special Soap Lake tradition
