White and Dark Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Mousse and toasted almond crunch.

It was a lot of fun making this cake. The fun for me is the flavor development and building of the cake... Not so much the decorating part... Clearly, I have room to improve. BUT, I always wanted my deserts to taste better than they look, so I'm going along with my mission statement.

2021 is almost gone, and we can all agree it has been quite the year 🙈 but I have a lot to be grateful for.

Cardamom Buns

If you want to give cinnamon rolls a break this year, try these instead for Christmas morning! With its spice and warmth, cardamom has been the GOAT for me these past couple of years.
These buns are pillowy, sweet with an orange hint, and sticky on the outside from the syrup.
So good!

Peach Coffee Cake

Peach season is here and it makes me so happy! Farmer's markets are bursting with this delicious stone fruit.
I don't drink coffee but I still very much enjoy this cake with tea in the evening or a scoop of ice cream during the day. It's so fluffy!
