✨ A BRAND NEW CHAPTER BEGINS! ✨
Well friends… this week is a BIG one! 🥹❤️
Life is taking me in a few exciting new directions, and I couldn’t be more excited (and maybe just a tiny bit nervous 😂) to share them with you!
👩‍⚕️ I’m starting a brand new job as a CNA in Fort Gratiot! 🩺❤️
📚 AND… I registered for classes to continue working toward my degree in Marketing! 🎓✨
So basically, I’ve decided I don’t have enough going on and thought, “You know what? Let’s add school AND a new job!” 😂😂
But don’t worry, Smiths Creek Crust Co. isn’t going anywhere! 🍞❤️
As I get settled into this new routine, I’m going to be doing things a little differently for the time being. This next week, I’ll be taking ONLINE ORDERS for pickup! 🛍️🍞
I’m so incredibly grateful for every single person who has supported this little business, ordered bread, stopped at a market, shared a post, told a friend, or simply cheered me on. You’ve helped turn something that started in my kitchen into something I’m truly proud of. 🥹❤️
This may be a new chapter, but the bread baking, the experimenting, the crazy baking days, and the love poured into every loaf are definitely staying! 🥖✨
So here’s to new jobs, new goals, new adventures… and plenty of sourdough along the way! 🥂🍞

🚨🍞 TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY, BREAD LOVERS!!! 🍞🚨
We have officially entered FULL BAKERY PANIC MODE over here at Smiths Creek Crust Co. 😂🔥
The ovens are working overtime, the sourdough starter is thriving, and I’m pretty sure I’ve personally become 87% flour at this point. 🤣
Tomorrow we’ll be at the 2nd Annual St. Clair County Farm to Table Market at Goodells County Park from 10 AM–5 PM! 🌾🥖
And when I say this is going to be BIG… I mean OVER 100 VENDORS BIG! 😍🙌
Come spend the day supporting local farmers, bakers, makers, growers, crafters and small businesses — and of course, come get yourself some fresh sourdough goodness before somebody else beats you to it! 👀🍞
Because let’s be honest… you can look at bread pictures all day, but eventually you have to make the responsible adult decision to EAT THE BREAD. 😂

WE ARE SUPER BUSY! 🍞🔥
We are officially in Farm to Table Market prep mode and our kitchen currently looks like a flour bomb went off… 😂🤦‍♀️
We are mixing, shaping, baking, packaging, and probably questioning our life choices somewhere between batches. 😅 But we wouldn’t have it any other way!
We are working hard to bring you a BIG, delicious selection of your Smiths Creek Crust Co. favorites for the 2nd Annual St. Clair County Farm to Table Market this Saturday, August 29th from 10 AM–5 PM at Goodells County Park! 🌾🍞
With 100+ vendors, this is going to be one AMAZING day, and we are so excited to be part of it! ❤️

While I love the smell of sourdough filling my house, I think I found something that beats it. CrazeeBee Collective came out with her fall scents and her Leaves wax is absolutely amazing. With this chilly weather, the windows open and my wax melter on, my house smells like everything fall right now and I’m so tempted to start decorating.
