I haven’t posted in a while and haven’t really been doing a lot of baking lately either BUT!!!!! I’m back y’all! This is a classic milk chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing that I made for Marks uncles birthday. Obviously he’s a Bama fan so I took a shot at free handing the “A” and I have to say “not to Shabby Ashley” 😂 this is a double layer sheet cake and will feed generous portions to about 25 people

It’s about that time of year when it’s all about getting together and eating everything! Growing up family holiday get togethers we’re a Big deal and all of my Aunts and my Granny would make their best desserts then when I was old enough that wooden spoon got passed down to me.
This time of year is super busy so why not check one thing off your list and let me do your holiday desserts and introduce you to my family recipes. Big or small let me know what you need! Want a sweet potato pie? I’ll make you My Mommas recipe! Want a chocolate cake? My granny had one of the best recipes in the south. Whatever it is I got you! After making this I want to have a Quinceanera, even though I am 36.
This was my first 3 tier cake I’ve ever done, and I am pretty happy with the results. Thank you Mr. Rick And Ms Lixi for letting me do this cake! It is all homemade Almond cake and Vanilla buttercream cake with some edible pearls and glitter. And to say this thing was heavy is an understatement!!

Made this little Nostalgic Gem for after dinner tonight! Growing up my Granny made the best Banana pudding and I remember her hand whisking the whipping cream and it taking forever for me to be able to lick the bowl. Thank God for my kitchen aid! Or I would have a noodle arm right about now! One of my favorite things about food is how little smells and tastes or just the presentation can bring back memories that I thought I’d never really cherish🖤 Happy Monday Y’all, I hope everyone has a great week!

I love Old family recipes, you know, the ones that take you back to Granny’s or Mommas kitchen where nothing else mattered just being with family and eating whatever amazing dish that was prepared. Especially desserts!
The next couple of weeks I am going to be doing some practice baking to just get my name out there and would love some new/ old recipes to add to my Menu, I want to be able to offer Sunday dinner desserts, or Friday night date night cake not just big cakes for birthdays and such. Just simple but delicious. I know life gets busy and not a lot of people have the time to add the special ending to their dinners or for some who just can’t cook (no judging).
If I make one of your recipes I promise to take a picture and share me and Marks experience eating it. Thank you so much In advance and hope everyone has had a great week!

I forget how much I love to bake sometimes. Made this pretty thing for a sweet girls 18ty birthday. She said she wanted fruit and Angel food cake so here it is! When Mark and I host Dinner at our house, I like to do the Ol Razzle Dazzle and have an amazing dessert with out food. So, I made a Reese Cup Cheesecake and it was delish! It was a great ending to the Braised Beef and Tortellini I made 🖤

Haven’t been in the kitchen in a while due to the move and setting up house, but got to do Me and Marks sweet baby cousins 1st birthday cakes! And Mark actually did the Egg Smash cake and I think he killed it!!! These Cakes were just a chocolate Vanilla Layer and classic butter cream icing with a chocolate Ganache and Candy Rocks. The rocks actually tasted like a weird shaped M&M.

So! I’m brainstorming out loud and was thinking of super cute gifts that aren’t only beautiful but delicious and unique. Since Spring is on the way and that means there are quite a few holidays and spring events coming with it! (Easter, Mother’s Day, weddings etc.) why not give a gift a little different than the normal! Let me create you a gift box filled with cupcakes, covered fruits, cookies, petit fours with some flowers, a personalized cup or some wine pretty much whatever you want to pack it with! Let me know what your thinking and I’ll give you a price no mater what your budget it is I can create you something amazing!
