Heaven gained a very special soul yesterday. Our buddy Norbert is resting pain free with Jesus after a hard fought battle with cancer.
Norbert was an artist, a jokester, a beloved uncle, a husband, a brother and a friend. He was the magic behind the restoration and maintenance of so many of the wonderful wooden relics and pieces in St Mary’s Church. We are so grateful that he installed and finished all of the wood flooring inside Pix and the event space. Only one small example over his expansive 50+ year career.
If you knew Norbert, you know how particular he was. But that was simply because he took so much pride in what he did, always. He had a true gift.
The next time you stop in, take a moment to enjoy our beautiful floors - especially the beautiful custom star on the landing! - and appreciate this man and his talent. Can you find his signature nestled in a special nook?
Rest easy, Norbert. You’ll be so missed 💔
