Attention Valued Farmhaus Customers And supporters:
There is No easy way of saying this, but here it is. The Farmhaus Restaurant in Sleepy Eye MN has PERMANENTLY CLOSED. As of today the doors will no longer open. All operations including the bakery addition has ended. This is devastating, heartbreaking and most of all hurtful. The closure is not due to the lack of trying on our end. The heart and soul that the team poured into these past 4months is indescribable. To our staff From Mistie & Geneva thank you! There is absolutely no amount of that Thank you that will ever be enough to compensate everything you gave us from day 1. As your management/owner/partner team we are so sorry that we had to deliver this devastating news last evening but thank you for giving us the chance to do so before us putting this out to the public today.
To our Valued Customers and some community supporters thank you! Thank you for giving Geneva some spark of hope to make a restaurant come to life after a hard stop from the Bar and Grill. The transition was not by any means easy, but you gave her your unwavering support from the very beginning to end. From Mistie to the Sleepy eye community thank you as well. Thank you for giving a young first timer a taste of what business can look like from a larger scale! Thank you for the support and feedback to allow Me to grow and grow Fast! In 4months from all angles and positions in an industry I knew nothing about just wow! I have grown as a business owner and as a baker! You'll never believe when I tell you all the inhouse desserts I created in 4months i never made in my life by scratch! The amount of support from the cheesecakes alone im speechless! But this is not goodbye for good! Hearth & Haven will return operations back in Springfield MN and will continue to serve baked goods under the strict rules from MN Cottage food laws FOR NOW! The expansion is coming just not in this Building. Follow Hearth & Haven Homestead & Bakery from here moving forward and reach out if your looking for something special 😉
There's so much more that could be said but Geneva & I will hold our heads high. This closure has so much more behind it than whats been posted here today.
