Our storefront closed early today because we sold everything. Thank you to everyone that made it out, we hope you enjoy your fresh sourdough as much as we enjoy making it for our community 🙌🏼

Just a reminder to come early if you are looking for a speciality item. We do not take custom orders! Storefront is open at 8AM until 2 or until sellout.

FYI -sometimes we offer “yesterday’s loaves” at a discount if you get here first thing Saturday morning. These also go quick so it’s another great reason to stop in Saturday!

Our sourdough bakery is open today from 8AM until 2PM! Freshly baked breads, focaccia, baguettes and pizza crusts are just now coming out of the oven. Who doesn’t want warm bread on a cold, fall day?!

New to Home Kneads? We make 100% sourdough with freshly milled flour and all organic, local ingredients—never any added sugar, commercial yeast or preservatives. Just REAL bread.

Our breads are available exclusively at Fareway Stores ! Find your nearest bread stop below.

🚚 MONDAYS + THURSDAYS
Stops in delivery order:
Huxley → South Ames → Ames Meat Market → North Ames → Polk City → Boone → Nevada → Story City → North Ankeny → South Ankeny → DSM Meat Market → DSM Euclid → Johnston → Grimes

🚚 TUESDAYS + FRIDAYS
Stops, in delivery order:
Granger → Adel → Waukee → Clive West → Mills Civic → Norwalk → Fleur → Grand Ave. → Clive East → Urbandale → Market of Madrid

⏰ Deliveries begin at 8 AM and wrap up just before 1 PM. Bread arrives throughout the morning as we make our way along each route!

Hot Honey Croissant Loaf made using The Holton Homestead® hot honey and grass fed butter

Banana Chocolate Chips Loaf made using bananas, sugar free dark chocolate chips and sweetened with The Holton Homestead® honey

Dark Chocolate Loaf made using cold brew from Public House 421 , maple syrup from Great River Maple , organic cocoa powder and sugar free dark chocolate chips
