Hi friends

I just wanted to give an update

I went back to the doctor yesterday and they told me absolutely no cookie making or decorating for the next 2 months. I’m back on complete rest and in a full hand and wrist splint.

Once I do get cleared, I have big plans for Poore Some Sugar. Prior to my injury, I got a cotton candy machine to make cotton candy glitter bombs and speciality flavors for parties. I practiced spinning sugar, flavors, and packaging for weeks. It’s so fun and I’m ready to launch this product when I get cleared.

In addition to the cotton candy and glitter bombs, I now have a special printer that prints any design on editable paper.

I’m ready to expand my business and create beautiful yummy things for your special events.

Please keep me in mind for future orders. I’m hoping I’ll be back in the winter.

I’ve been so bad at updating this account. I have loads of old orders I need to post. I’m planning on making some over the next few weeks

BUT

I need to give everyone an update. I planned on taking the summer off to be present with my family, sketching cookie ideas,and planning how to expand my cookie business. The first day of “summer” I fell while I was loading my car and broke the wrist of my dominant hand. I really don’t even know what the next few weeks look like with healing, but I’m still planning/hoping to be back taking orders by August.

In the meantime, I’m going to be posting old orders and sharing my process.

I love making cookies for all of you and all the support everyone has given me. I’m really upset about this setback but I’m going to put my boots on and get to work. I can’t wait to be back in the kitchen again soon.

PYO cookies are great for gift giving or a super simple activity for kids and big kids like me who are a kid at heart.

I had my son stand in as my cookie model and show off this super cool activity. He loves painting and also loves to taste test my cookies.
