As a neighborhood bakery, Labor Day is especially meaningful to us. Everything we make depends on the time, skill, and care of hardworking people—from our bakers and café team to the farmers, producers, and delivery workers who help keep our kitchen running.

Our Kiss & Tell Sundae is here for a very limited run, just in time for Devonshire Community Theatre’s production of "Kiss & Tell!"

Strawberry ice cream topped with macerated strawberries, warm hot fudge, whipped cream, and dehydrated strawberries.

Catch "Kiss & Tell" at the Skokie Heritage Museum, then stop by Kneads & Wants for your sundae before or after the show. The sundae is available August 15–23, only during the run of the show.

We have a confession...

We stayed up late Tuesday night to watch the Ted Lasso Season 4 premiere. No spoilers, but it felt like catching up with old friends. Judging by how many Biscuits with the Boss have left our bakery this week, we're guessing a lot of you were just as excited as we were.

One of our favorite callbacks in the premiere comes tucked inside the little pink box: "Let it steep."

To celebrate the return of Ted Lasso, we're bringing back one of our favorite traditions: Ted Lasso Biscuits with the Boss.

From Tuesday, August 4 through Sunday, August 9, we're baking our rich, buttery shortbread biscuits inspired by the iconic treats Ted delivers every morning. Crisp, melt-in-your-mouth, and packaged in our signature pink box, they're available for a limited time while supplies last.

Whether you're celebrating the Season 4 premiere on Wednesday, August 5, introducing someone to the show for the first time, or simply looking for the perfect excuse to enjoy an exceptional shortbread cookie, this is your week.

Congratulations to Laura Frisch, creator of the Cracked Earth Sundae!

Laura's winning creation starts with Cosmic Cookie Dough ice cream, then gets smothered in rich hot fudge, topped with fluffy marshmallow fluff, crowned with a chocolate crinkle cookie, and finished with whipped cream and a cherry. It's decadent, over-the-top, and absolutely delicious.

The best part? Every Sundae Society winner comes from our customers. We love seeing the creativity our community brings, and every week we get to turn one great idea into a real sundae.
