Last night we got to be a part of some great community events all over our city. This one was the Solace Cultivating Courage event.

Our cupcakes got to sit elegantly between ch*****ne flutes… at least while they lasted! Also, if you’ve never done a cupcake setup in a full length dress… well I highly recommend it. 😂

This month is a BIG month as it’s also Careers in Construction month! What in the world would we do without our amazing men and women in construction related careers?

We are teaming up with the HBA of the Sioux Empire on a special cupcake that’ll be in our bakery cases all next week. The cupcake is called Let’s Build, and is available for preorder now on our website. I’ll pop the link down in comments for easy ordering, or of course you can give us a call to order! And a portion of each cupcake sold goes to the Home Builders Care Foundation.

And that little tape measure? It’s a keychain, you guys… and it’s also a real working tape measure! Adorable. Useful. Delicious. Just how we like it. Let us know if you love these.

Story time: I once hit a goal I’d worked really hard for, and my reward was a pair of shoes I desperately wanted. They were plain shoes. Sensible. No heels. Ok, that’s a lie. 😂 But this isn’t about the shoes.

At checkout, the website asked, “Is this a gift?”
Why, yes. Yes, it is, my friends. From me, to me.

So I wrote in the notes area: “I’m so proud of you. You worked so hard. You did it, Rockstar!”

The shoes took long enough to arrive that my goldfish-on-a-sugar-high brain completely forgot about the note. 🫠 When I opened the box, I genuinely thought someone at the company had written it to me and Wow! These people sure believed in me!

But friends: It made my whole day.

So in case this was the Mondayest Monday that ever Mondayed: You’re allowed to send yourself flowers. 💐
