I have joked that our September lineup is very BEIGE. But if you think beige can = boring? Not a chance. This cupcake lineup is the FURTHEST thing from blah. In fact, they’re some of our faves we look forward to all year long.

Today was seasonal menu planning day at Oh My Cupcakes! 💕

Which means printed spreadsheets, scribbled notes, holiday calendars, and lots of opinions about frosting and fillings. Deciding what you’ll be craving for the whole next year is a big task!

See, before the cupcakes are baked and in the case, before the pretty photos and clever names, there’s this: a table, a team, and a whole bunch of ideas. (Not pictured here is Madisyn Van Hunnick who keeps us all on track with the notes and spreadsheets.)

Today we did some preliminary mapping of flavors and packages for the year ahead: now we need you!

Which flavors absolutely HAVE to stay? Which one could you live without? 🤷🏼‍♀️ And most importantly, what flavor have you always wished we’d make? Tell us. We’re listening. Your 2027 cupcake 🧁 menu is officially in the works.

Personally, I’m ready for soup season again. I mean, I could eat soup all year ‘round. But, since temps are still feeling like they want to bathe our skin in sunburns, we’ll reluctantly hold off on soup just a PINCH longer.

This week, think cool and refreshing when you think of lunch. We’ve got a brand new sandwich coming atcha called The Italian Job. It’s salami, provolone, lettuce, and all the fixins in Italian dressing, chopped and scooped into a fresh hoagie bun. The sidekick? A cool Garden Pasta Salad. It’s a lunch combo that basically says “Hey Fall, we see you coming. But we’re going to keep things cool just a little bit longer.”

Lunch at our The Bridges At 57th location is available for dine-in, carryout, or delivery every day from 11-1. You won’t want to miss this one. 🥪

Imagine spending 80 years on this planet, writing thousands of songs, 55 top 10 hits, multiple awards, country AND rock hall of fame inductions…and when you pass, people only talk about how kind you were, your philanthropy, how you stayed true to yourself and championed others. That’s a life well lived. Everyone loved Dolly. Everyone.

So, we had to pass forward the smiles, the ✨glitter ✨ the butterflies, and the love of everything pink by making Dolly Cakes, in the case this weekend only.

Hey friends! Remember last year when we did that FABULOUS brand refresh with Branch Creative Co | Melissa Heckel | Branding + Design ?

We’ve finally gotten the time to update our Sweet Cream Candle Company packaging and photos, and with that upgrade came a few name changes.

Fear not, your favorite scent formulations are still the same! But you may see some new names.
-Egyptian Cotton Sheets now = Velvet Linen
-Sea Salt and Orchid now = Orchid Tide
-Mango and Coconut Milk now = Mango Creme
-Pleasantville now = Vanilla Cupcake

We think the new branding and packaging better reflects the elevated vibe, the handcrafted quality, and the feel of our hand poured soy candle line. Additionally, you’ll find them presented in a pure white, so the scent and quality stands out; not the color.

If you’re in one of our stores and you don’t see a scent you used to love, just ask! Chances are it’s still here, just a different name or look.

Wowza. The shift in our store traffic hits us like a ton of bricks every year during the back to school weeks. New routines, less easy time, and we get kinda slow. You’d think I’d be used to it after the years of business, 🤷🏼‍♀️ but it’s always kind of a shock how quickly it goes from fun summer vibes to…Well… kinda like crickets some days. 🤪

When I order merchandise for our stores, I always have a story in mind. And when the latest round of it started arriving this week (eeeek!) it was demonstrated: we don’t just choose “things.” No, we curate pieces that will be another part of someone’s story.

A fun new kids’ baking kit might be a new memory made in the kitchen. Back to school might invite fresh notebooks and organized goals. This time of year is about coming home and settling back into routines like dinner around the table and a house that smells inviting. Special “great job!” cookies waiting after the first day of school. These things are the heartbeat of life.

Cupcakes and sweet treats will always be the backbone of Oh My Cupcakes! But the stories we get to be part of? The birthdays and the regular, random Tuesdays? Those are what anchor us to our WHY.

Your stories matter. All of them. Never forget that.
