This weekend is Freight House Farmers' Market opener! So excited to be back. You will find my booth closer to the building this year(same row) in spots 188 to 190. Find me with my pink tablecloths. Starting Mother's day cookies this week, Caramel apples, Cherry Rhubarb Crisps, Strawberry Rhubarb Crisps, braided breads, dozens of cookies, and always lots of Cinnamon rolls. Hope to see you on opener.

2 event weekend! Freight House Farmers' Market and Geneseo Art Walk. We will have rhubarb crisps and strawberry rhubarb jam along with my other delicious treats.

Rhubarb season has begun! I will have Strawberry Rhubarb Crisps, Cherry Rhubarb Crisps, and Strawberry Rhubarb jam this weekend for the Geneseo Art walk and at Freight House Farmers market in Davenport.

Last week to shop my Silvis store until November. Open 7am until 11 am Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I close for the summer for the Farmers Markets. May 2nd starts in Davenport.

My shop will not be open this week, March 25 to 27. I had emergency surgery(appendix). I hope to be at the QCCA Expo center Saturday and Sunday but still uncertain.

HELP US NOT LOSE OUR GENESEO FARMERS MARKET!
To my Geneseo Farmers Market customers: The city is proposing that the market be moved downtown to the City Hall Parking lot. I have seen the Port Byron Farmers Market completely fail as a result of being moved. When the flood waters have moved my Freight House Market, we had only seen about 25% of our customers come.
We would have a smaller footprint for our market, we would not be allowed to work out of our vehicles and told to park 2 blocks away. Sheltering our overflow of product from rain/sun/wind is crucial. On dates the city has committed events, we would be asked to move again(if they allow us a market). The city says that they are trying to help the downtown. There are few businesses open on Saturday mornings that we would help.
Please help us to stop this decision by showing up this Tuesday, March 24th to the City Council meeting, reach out to Mayor Sean Johnson, City Administrator Brandon Maeglin, or any of your ward representatives.
