I have a secret 🤫 I LOVE making cupcakes then seeing what customers add to them! If I can provide delicious cupcakes that are a canvas for someone else, all I ask is to see the finished product 🥰

It was absolutely incredible to see these mermaid cupcakes come to life! 🧜‍♀️

My guess is Charlie has been there. His mom requested this awesome Lego cake and dropped off some for decorations. It was so fun to place them around the cake to make it come to life. ☺️

Anyone else in shock that we’re close to February 2022 than 2021?! Time is going by so quickly. 😱

And it feels like yesterday that the last cake of 2021 went out the door. This beauty is pink champagne cake with cream cheese frosting. All those flowers, pure decadent buttercream. 😉

🤩 Wow! What a year! 🥰

Thank you to every single one of you for making 2021 a success for LC’s Baked Goods. I’m humbled by everyone’s generosity, trust, and inspiration this year.

I’ve picked my favorite cake/cupcakes from each month this year and it was NOT easy!!! I put my heart in every cake and cupcake that goes out the door, so please don’t feel any way if yours didn’t get picked. It’s was SO TOUGH!! Post your favorite in the comments if I missed it. 😉

You may not know, but I juggle this on top of a full-time job and being a new mom. There’s been times I’ve been so blessed by your amazing understanding. I believe we’re really a team here. 😉 I’ve baked new flavors and fillings and continued pushing myself to try new decorating techniques thanks to your creativity.

In 2022, I’m gonna take a little step back. That doesn’t mean I’m disappearing 🙅🏻‍♀️ It means less time in the kitchen to focus on my “other career” and being the best mom I can be to my now toddler, really more family time in general. So let me know when you’ve got an occasion as soon as you know! 😆

We had an amazing Christmas in the LC’s house. Made some cookies (which I rarely do!) and enjoyed some time off after celebrating my son’s FIRAT birthday! I’m excited for everything the new year will bring. 😁

Yesterday was Small Business Saturday. Thank you to EVERY one of you for the support over the last nearly two years. This has grown beyond what I ever imagined it could, and it’s all thanks to YOU! ❤️

The personal and professional growth I’ve experienced on this journey is something I’m incredibly grateful for. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, and I’ve celebrated. Thank YOU for continue to challenge and support me. 🤗

Every once in awhile, I get a bit of creative freedom, and as I start creating, it isn’t quite what I expected. Inevitably there’s a turn and VOILA! 🙌🏼 it all comes together. 😁

Also, putting toys on cakes is the best 😉
