🌧️ Well, last night’s weather definitely got a little crazy! 🌧️
With that being said, the farm stand is OPEN today! 🥚🌱 We have fresh eggs available along with a limited selection of fresh produce.
Unfortunately, produce season is coming to an end a little sooner than we’d hoped. The heavy rain last night took out some of our plants, so we’ll have limited quantities as we wrap up the season. ❤️‍🩹🌿
But there’s some exciting news on the horizon… 🎃 PUMPKINS may be making their arrival this weekend! 🎃🍂

🥚 The stand is OPEN and stocked with fresh eggs! 🥚
We did close the doors a little early today due to the oncoming weather we’re supposed to be getting soon. Better safe than sorry for everyone and everything around the farm! 🌧️💨
Also, a little farm education and egg update for everyone! 🐔
Some of our ladies have already started their annual molt! Yes, it may seem a little early, but chickens are very sensitive to changes in daylight and weather. With all of this back-and-forth weather lately, combined with the days already starting to get shorter, some of the girls are beginning to shed and replace their feathers.
During a molt, a hen puts a lot of her energy into growing beautiful new feathers instead of producing eggs. That means you may notice fewer eggs coming from the flock for a while. Shorter daylight hours can also naturally slow egg production, since laying hens rely heavily on daylight to maintain consistent egg production.
🥚 Less daylight + molting = fewer eggs!
The good news? Our younger girls are getting closer and closer to laying age, and we're really hoping they start contributing in the next couple of weeks to help pick up some of the slack! 🤞🐔🥚
Thank you all for supporting our little farm and for understanding that egg production naturally goes up and down throughout the year. Our girls are working hard—even when they decide it's time for a new wardrobe! 😂🐓 (Sometimes when molting they can get really naked!)

🍂🎃 Well, friends… we are officially in the BER MONTHS!! 🎃🍂
You know what that means around the farm… cooler days, cozy vibes, and LOTS of cookies coming your way! 🍪🌾
Starting this weekend, I'll be putting some sweet treats out at the stand! 🤎 I’ll also be collecting orders for DIY Fall Cookie Kits 🍁🎨
And in just 2 weeks, I'll start taking orders for Halloween DIY Cookie Kits! 👻🎃🧡 Of course, you can also place orders for fall cookies and other fall goodies!
🍂 A little heads-up: Around the 2nd week of September, my baking really starts to pick up for the busy fall season! Because of that, pre-orders will be necessary for most custom and specialty orders.
The only goodies available without pre-order will be whatever delicious treats happen to be stocked at the stand! 🍪🤩
So get ready, friends… fall baking season is officially HERE! 🍁🌻🚜 I can't wait to fill your fall with cookies, sweetness, and a little farmstand magic! 🧡

🍂 What a beautiful, cool day here on the farm! 🍂
Today was coop cleaning day, so the girls got some nice, fresh bedding and their coop is looking and feeling great! 🐔 We’ll do one more full cleaning before winter officially arrives, and then we'll switch over to the deep litter method to help keep everyone cozy and warm through the colder months.
And that wasn't all we were busy with today—we did quite a bit of baking too! 🧁🍞🎃
Just a quick note: these baked goods are NOT FOR SALE! They were special treats made for our family to enjoy. ❤️
Today's baking included: 🍌 Banana bread
🍫 Chocolate zucchini bread
🎃 Pumpkin sourdough cinnamon rolls
This was my first time making the pumpkin cinnamon rolls, and to say they came out delicious would be a huge understatement! 🤤 They were absolutely amazing!
I hope everyone had a wonderful day! As we head into fall, my baking schedule will be picking up, so don't hesitate to place an order for your favorite treats! 🍁🍪

I’m always looking for ways to make our little farm stand better and more enjoyable for everyone, and I’d truly love your input! 💛
When you decide to stop at a farm stand, what makes you choose one stand over another? What keeps you coming back?
Is it: 🥚 Convenience or location? 💲 Prices? 🕒 Hours of availability? 🌻 Variety of products? 🍪 Fresh baked goods or specialty items? ❤️ Knowing the farmers and wanting to support someone local? 📱 Seeing posts and updates on social media? ✨ Something else entirely?
And for those who don't typically stop at farm stands, what would make you more likely to visit one?
I'm not looking to compare or compete with anyone—there are so many wonderful local stands, and I love supporting them too! 🌱 I simply want to learn what people enjoy and what I could do to make our stand more useful, welcoming, and worth stopping by.

🥚 The egg fridge is fully stocked! Tons of fresh eggs available! 🥚
Can you believe school starts soon and September is next week?! Our summer produce is winding down, but pumpkins will be coming in the next few weeks! 🎃 Availability is still TBD, so pumpkins will be first come, first serve.
I’ll be working quickly to get our fall items out! 🍂
Reminder: Pumpkin baked goods are not available due to cottage food laws.

Slow days + chilly weather = apparently happy chickens! 😂🥚 Our egg count is ramping up, the pumpkins are turning orange, and the sunflowers just keep blooming! 🌻🎃

The deer may have beat me to the sweet corn this year, but I’m hoping to put those corn stalks to good use for fall decor! 🍂🌽

Farm life keeps us on our toes! 🤣🐓

Today is one of those days where we take a little break indoors! 🏡☕️ Hard to believe how chilly it was this morning—but maybe that’s just me! 🥶
It’s also the perfect kind of cool day to do a little baking, enjoy some comfort food, and cozy up at home. 🍪🥧❤️
Or, you can be like my friend Josh and go chasing rainbows! 🌈😄
However you spend the day, I hope you find a little something to enjoy! 💕

🌈 🌈 Well today definitely has produced lots of rainbows! Low cloud tops help to keep the sun from being completely blocked out. I caught this rainbow a little after 10am and actually got to watch the rainbow set below the horizon in real time! A rainbow can happen anytime the sun angle is 42⁰ or lower. The lower the angle the taller the rainbow arc is. The higher the angle the closer to the horizon and flatter the rainbow will be. This was taken from the top of page hill in Middlebury, NY. I was zoomed in a good amount so the road and houses you see I believe are Vernal Rd.
