Hi everyone I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful day or plan too after work!!
Just some food for thought!! I am still taking orders but limited to one to two a week depending on the size and difficulty of the order, because I am working 32 hours a week at my day job!! Not only do I have a job I love, but I have an 8 year old I love even more! Our days are filled with sports after work and fun family times as well. I carefully try to balance all of my duties as a dental assistant, Baker and most importantly a mommy/wife!! Please don't book something with me and stiff me because my time could be used elsewhere if I hadn't set it aside for your order. I will never understand why people do these things!!. It costs ME money to make baked goods, it takes time to make them, time from my family and time form myself. I love to decorate and provide a delicious custom cake and or cookies to make you and your children happy!
I was just about to start working on some cookie orders this morning and realized I didn't receive payment yet so I messaged the person, and thank God I did because they are now cancelling their order!! This order was placed 5 days ago!! They would never have told me had I not messaged them for payment and told them I wasn't baking their order if I haven't heard back from them by 10. I would have done all the work for their order, the time it would have taken me would have nearly 5 hours and the cost for ingredients would have been money wasted out of my pocket. It's just so infuriating!! This is not the first time this has happened, And yes I have been stiffed after doing all the work in the past.
End of my rant!!
