This weekend's monster, lol. Second year in a row I have had the privilege of making the NETCOM New Year party cake. Last year it was massive, but this year we also went shaped. This is a model of the building where they work imagined as a winter wonderland. It's not 100% how I wanted it to turn out, but I really ran out of time because it took so much longer than I expected to make sure all the walls were straight and each cake was the same height. I wanted more detail on the windows and the little portico and wanted a little more landscaping, but as it was, I worked to finish from 11 AM on Saturday until 0630 Sunday morning, slept for 3 hours, then delivered the cake. Cake was assembled onsite because I do NOT have a fridge big enough to store this. Each secton was about 11.75(L) x 5.75(W) x 7.5(H). I learn something from every cake and this one was: don't go off internet pics (the name on the front had changed) and give myself more time.
Cakes:
West wing: Vanilla cake w/raspberry filling
Center: Carrot cake w/cream cheese, Biscoff cookie butter + crushed Biscoff cookies
East wing: Marble cake w/cookies and cream buttercream + crushed Oreos
All covered in ganache with a modeling chocolate/fondant mix and topped with white chocolate "snow."

A super cute Christmas themed 16th birthday cake. I have been enjoying the piped cakes since I don't get to work on those often. Really happy with how this one turned out

Piped pineapple cake with real leaves since it was traveling to Tucson and that was the easiest way to make sure it was "removable" for the trip and cost less than me having to make them! This was a new recipe and I immediately thought of about 12 things I would have done differently. I hope it still turned out okay. I am still always learning, even after almost 14 years of making cakes!

Set of Minecraft themed birthday cupcakes with handmade fondant toppers. Sometimes the squares in Minecraft make things fairly simple! Just time consuming.

Finally, I made this KPop Demon Hunters cake this past weekend. I had a lot of fun just making it super girly and sparkly. There (surprisingly) isn't a ton of merchandise for this movie. Maybe they didn't expect for it to blow up like it did, but we had to opt for an Etsy topper. Which came out SUPER cute! I even did Rumi's braid on top, and when I dropped it off, the birthday girl was wearing a long purple braid in her hair, so that worked out well!
