I know other local bakeries follow me on here. If you own a local bakery - I would like to see if you would be willing to be a part of what I am calling “Loaves of Love” and bake 10 loaves each to join me in filling up S.A.H.A.R.A. Humanitarian Resource INC. freezer. And any other food bank we can help. If I can 9 local bakers to donate 10 loaves each we can stock them with 100 loaves!!
Please share this with your cottage baker friends in Sierra Vista. Let’s give back to the community that’s supported our small business for years!

, to those who are spouses of or currently being furloughed due to the government shut down- active military, or government employee - I have dehydrated Sourdough Starter that I would like to give you at no charge so that you have the ability to make bread at home as things get tight.

I will be having a BIG BIG craft and bakery supply garage sale next Saturday and will have it available for pick up that day between 7am-noon.

Please message me to reserve your starter. This is at NO CHARGE, and my way of giving back to those of you in the military who have supported my business over the years.

Please message me to have it set aside for you. As I don’t know how much extra will have on hand next week for those who just show up: I’ll post more information like location next Friday.

Tomorrow’s the day!! Come out to the Sierra Vista Farmers Market 9-2 (or sold out whichever comes first). We will be in the grass area this week. I’ll post where my spot is tomorrow when it’s assigned!

Tomorrow is going to be a bit different than the norm for Flour Power Bakery. I am testing out a new menu which consists of all items being $8 or less!!! If it seems to be a hit I will commit to doing it monthly 😊 come out and shop local - your community could really use your support right now! See you tomorrow ☮️💕🍪!

My garden is booming so expect to see some new and awesome flavor combos like Strawberry mint scones and lemon ginger honey scones, maybe even some savory with fresh garden herbs as well!! Hi everyone!! This weeks farmers market is going to be awesome!!! Come out and celebrate Earth Day with a wide variety of vendors and grab your goodies for Easter dinner!
I’ll have the following plus much more!

-Strawberry Rhubarb crisp (Gluten Free options)
-Blueberry Rhubarb Crisp (Gluten Free options)
-Peach Crisp (Gluten Free options)
-Carrot Cake Cinnamon Rolls
-Cranberry Orange Cinnamon Rolls
-Empty Tomb Dinner Rolls (dinner rolls that are empty inside just like Jesus’s Tomb)
-Sourdough Dinner Rolls
-Large selection of Sourdough bread
-Cookies, Brownies, Blondies, and more!!
I’ll be there from 9am-2pm (or sold out). Remember, the early bird gets the best selection!! So come on down to the Sierra Vista Farmers Market tomorrow and grab your goodies!! It looks like we will have some wind so I won’t have my canopy up but will be in my normal spot diagonal from the Hot Dog stand which has amazing Frito Pies BTW 😉!

Tomorrow is the day!!! Come out and support lots of local vendors from 10-2 at Veterans Park for the Sierra Vista Farmers Market!

I’ll have cookies, scones, sourdough. Some new flavors and oh I’ll have Sourdough Challah this week as well! Come grab some yummy chocolate raspberry sourdough, or some Blueberry Goat cheese! And as always I’ll have my tried and true flavors.

I am still trading 1 loaf sourdough for 1 dozen unwashed, unrefrigerated eggs. I will also trade sourdough for local honey. See you tomorrow!!
